Hello, I'm Alistair Hamilton, the owner and webmaster of DepressionInfo.me.uk.

Depression is one of the most commonly diagnosed 'ailments' in the Western world. It is reckoned that everyone will, at some time in their lives suffer from one of the many forms of depression. That is not to say that it is serious - we all feel 'down' at times and for short periods. Clinical depression is something altogether different and, left untreated, it can develop into something with much more serious consequences.

This website has been created to provide a wide range of resources to assist you in your fight against depression. Much of the information contained within certainly helped me cope with the trauma of a particularly difficult marriage break-up.

Whatever the cause of your suffering, please realise that you are not alone. Here you will find many articles and reference material as well as links to other sources of information and products all designed to help you with your condition.

I wanted to create a resource that other sufferers will find as useful as I have done. I don't present things here as an endorsement of any particular article or product you may find contained within. What seems to work for some simply doesn't for others.

My aim is to provide you with as many articles and resources in one location allowing you to gather as much information about the condition as possible. This will allow you to make an informed choice as regards treatment and ultimately relief from this very common and distressing condition.

I'm also very interested in hearing from anyone regarding this condition. So, if your a sufferer, or know a sufferer; if you've found a solution to ease your suffering and are willing to share your experience then please .
